Our Efforts against the Spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19)

・Disinfectants is available at the entrance and inside the museum.

・Body temperature will be measured before admission.

    Visitors with symptoms with fever or colds may not be allowed to enter the museum.

・We are particularly diligent in disinfecting and cleaning places touched by hands of visitors.

・Admission may be restricted due to the congestion in the exhibition rooms.

・The water fountain and rented strollers / wheelchairs are stopped temporally.

 

Requests for All Visitors

We request the following persons to refrain from visiting the museum.

・Persons with symptoms such as fever, colds, sneeze, etc.

・Persons who had a close contact with a person infected with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) or suspected of being infected at home, workplace, school, etc.

・Persons who are not feeling well.

 

We request visitors to cooperate with the following matters to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

・To use disinfectants on your fingers before admission.

・To wear a face mask and when coughing or sneezing, to comply with the “cough etiquette” of properly covering your mouth with a face mask or handkerchief.

・To keep the distance between individuals during your visit.

・To refrain from talking in the exhibition room.

 

Changes in Closed Days and Opening Hours until Further Notice

・Closed Days:
Mondays (except national holidays), weekday immediately following a national holiday, New Year’s holiday period, special closures

・Opening Hours: 10:00-17:00 (last admission at 16:30) 

・Admission may be restricted due to the congestion.

 

Changes in Special Exhibition and Events

・All events such as Hand Paper Making Workshop, Guided Tours, and reservations by individual or group are cancelled.
